Mijn neef Ronan, 46, staat voor een levensbedreigende situatie. Hij lijdt al zijn hele leven aan een reumatische hartziekte, maar heeft nu echt een hartoperatie nodig om zijn leven te redden. Deze operatie biedt de enige kans op een gezonde en hoopvolle toekomst voor Ronan. Helaas is medische zorg op de Filipijnen niet voor iedereen even toegankelijk en betaalbaar.
