Help Ayla vechten en herstellen na een spoedkeizersnede

Vandaag stond onze wereld even stil. Onze lieve Ayla moest met spoed naar het dierenziekenhuis voor een levensreddende keizersnede nadat ze urenlang aan het bevallen was, veel bloed verloor en het duidelijk niet goed ging.

Na de spoedoperatie zijn er twee baby’s geboren. Helaas heeft één kitten het niet gered… een enorm verdrietig verlies. Het andere kleintje leeft gelukkig nog, maar verkeert op dit moment nog in kritieke toestand en heeft intensieve zorg nodig.

Ayla zelf maakt het gelukkig naar omstandigheden goed, maar ze staat nog voor een zwaar herstel. Door de grote wond van de keizersnede heeft ze veel pijn en zal ze dagelijks pijnstilling en antibiotica nodig hebben om goed te kunnen herstellen.

Omdat het kitten nog zo kwetsbaar is, zal ik de komende periode zelf dag en nacht elke twee uur speciale flesvoeding moeten geven om haar een kans te geven. Hierdoor is extra werken om de kosten op te vangen op dit moment helaas ook niet mogelijk.

De totale kosten van de spoedkeizersnede en medische zorg bedragen ongeveer €2200. Gelukkig heeft het dierenziekenhuis met ons meegedacht en mogen wij het bedrag in drie delen betalen. Het eerste deel hebben wij bij het ophalen van Ayla direct moeten betalen met geleend geld, maar de overige kosten staan nog open.

Het voelt ontzettend moeilijk om hulp te vragen, maar voor Ayla en haar baby doen we alles wat we kunnen. Iedere donatie – groot of klein – helpt ons enorm met de medische kosten en geeft Ayla de rust om te herstellen zonder de constante financiële stress. Ook delen wordt enorm gewaardeerd. ❤️

Help Ayla Fight and Recover After an Emergency C-Section

Today, our world stood still for a moment. Our beloved Ayla had to be rushed to the animal hospital for a life-saving emergency C-section after being in labor for hours, losing a lot of blood, and clearly not doing well.

After the emergency surgery, two kittens were born. Sadly, one of the kittens did not survive… a heartbreaking loss for us. Thankfully, the other little one is still alive, but is currently in critical condition and requires intensive care.

Fortunately, Ayla herself is doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances, but she still faces a difficult recovery. Due to the large surgical wound from the C-section, she is in pain and will need daily pain medication and antibiotics to recover properly.

Because the surviving kitten is still so fragile, I will need to provide special bottle feeding every two hours, day and night, to give the little one the best possible chance. This unfortunately also means that working extra hours to cover the costs is not possible right now.

The total costs for the emergency C-section and medical care are approximately €2,200. Thankfully, the animal hospital has worked with us and allowed us to pay the amount in three installments. We had to pay the first part immediately upon picking Ayla up using borrowed money, but the remaining costs are still outstanding.

It feels incredibly difficult to ask for help, but for Ayla and her baby, we will do everything we can. Every donation — big or small — would mean the world to us and help cover the medical costs, allowing Ayla to recover without the constant stress of financial worries. Even sharing this fundraiser would be deeply appreciated. ❤️
