Patron Pet Center ( https://www.instagram.com/patron.center/ ) is a public organization that was founded in 2022 to save war animals. In March 2023, construction of the center began on an area of ​​​​800 m2.

The center is located in Kyiv, it has the status of a center for the adoption of homeless animals.

The center opened its doors to its first residents on June 6, 2023, when the tragedy occurred at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station - due to its explosion.

At that time, only 14 enclosures were built.

During the 3 months of the center's operation, 68 more enclosures were rebuilt.

Construction continues now. The plan is to have 200 places for dogs and 300 places for cats.

On the first floor there are:

⁃ dog quarter for 150 enclosures for accommodation of 200 dogs (about 100 enclosures have been rebuilt)

⁃ administrative premises

⁃ warehouses

⁃ grooming room

⁃ room for physical rehabilitation and physiological development

⁃ photo studio with professional equipment

⁃ manipulation room

⁃ veterinary hospital (not rebuilt)

⁃ cafe for visitors

On the second floor:

⁃ quarantine for cats

⁃ large room for accommodation of 100-150 healthy cats

⁃ manipulation room

⁃ space for cats with disabilities

⁃ space for animals infected with HIV and leukemia

⁃ space for communication with animals

During the first year of the center's operation, more than 1,200 animals were adopted, and 1,000 found new homes in Ukraine and abroad.

Now the center receives more than 2,000 visitors per month, and develops various programs that contribute to increasing the culture of animal acceptance in society!

Rehabilitation of veterans, psycho-emotional support for children and women in a state of stress, education of a humane society through interaction with schoolchildren and students, and, of course, the salvation of our smaller brothers - all this is what Patron Pet Center is!

Currently, there is an urgent need to build a veterinary hospital, which will be located in the Patron Pet Center building and provide urgent veterinary care and service to the center's animals. This will not only improve the quality of life of animals coming to Patron Pet Center from the hottest war zones in Ukraine, but it will also provide the opportunity to quickly diagnose diseases of the internal organs of animals, because due to poor living conditions - under shelling, on the street, most of them suffer from kidney failure, burns, blood diseases, parasitic and viral diseases. Those animals that have suffered serious injuries will be able to receive qualified help and will have a chance for a full life and even adoption into a family!
