Steun families die hun kinderen begeleiden tijdens lange behandelingen in Belgische brandwondencentra.
Op oudejaarsnacht vond in Crans-Montana een verwoestende brand plaats in de club Le Constellation waarbij minimum 40 mensen, voornamelijk jongeren, het leven lieten en meer dan 100 jongeren en jongvolwassenen gewond raakten.
Na de zware brand in Zwitserland worden meerdere slachtoffers overgebracht naar België voor gespecialiseerde zorg in onze brandwondencentra. Het gaat om jonge mensen die maandenlang intensieve behandelingen nodig hebben. Tijdens die periode komen ook hun ouders en familie mee naar België, ver weg van hun thuis, werk en sociaal netwerk.
Nazorg- en onderzoekscentrum voor brandwonden en littekens Oscare vzw wil deze families ondersteunen tijdens hun verblijf. Denk aan kosten voor verblijf, maaltijden, vervoer en dagelijkse noden. Zaken die essentieel zijn om nabij te kunnen zijn wanneer hun kind of familielid vecht voor herstel.
Met deze crowdfunding willen we ervoor zorgen dat geen enkele familie zich zorgen hoeft te maken over geld terwijl hun focus volledig moet liggen op zorg, herstel en nabijheid.
Het ingezamelde bedrag gaat integraal naar de ondersteuning van deze families. Indien er middelen overblijven, worden die volledig ingezet voor de nazorg van andere mensen met brandwonden die langdurige ondersteuning nodig hebben.
Samen kunnen we het verschil maken op een moment dat menselijkheid en solidariteit het hardst nodig zijn.

Ensemble pour soutenir les victimes de l’incendie en Suisse en Belgique
Soutenez les familles qui accompagnent leurs enfants durant de longs traitements dans les centres belges des brûlés.
Lors de la nuit du Nouvel An, un incendie dévastateur s’est déclaré dans la discothèque Le Constellation à Crans-Montana, faisant au moins 40 morts, principalement des jeunes, et plus de 100 jeunes et jeunes adultes blessés.
Suite au grave incendie survenu en Suisse, plusieurs victimes sont transférées en Belgique pour recevoir des soins spécialisés dans des centres pour grands brûlés. Il s’agit souvent de jeunes personnes qui devront suivre un long parcours médical. Leurs parents et proches les accompagnent, loin de leur domicile, de leur travail et de leur quotidien.
Oscare vzw souhaite soutenir ces familles pendant toute la durée de leur séjour en Belgique. Cela comprend les frais de logement, de repas, de transport et les besoins quotidiens essentiels. Être présent auprès d’un proche gravement brûlé est crucial pour le processus de guérison.
Grâce à cette collecte de fonds, nous voulons faire en sorte qu’aucune famille ne doive s’inquiéter de l’aspect financier durant cette période difficile.
L’intégralité des dons sera destinée au soutien de ces familles. Si des fonds restent disponibles, ils seront entièrement utilisés pour la prise en charge et le suivi d’autres personnes victimes de brûlures.

Support families who accompany their children during long treatments in Belgian burn centres.
On New Year’s Eve, a devastating fire broke out at the club Le Constellation in Crans-Montana, claiming the lives of at least 40 people, mostly young people, and injuring more than 100 youths and young adults.
Following the severe fire in Switzerland, several victims are being transferred to Belgium for specialised treatment in burn centres. Many of them are young people who will face long recovery journeys. Their families travel with them, far from home, work and daily life.
Oscare vzw wants to support these families throughout their stay in Belgium. This includes costs for accommodation, meals, transport and daily necessities. Being close to a loved one during recovery is essential.
Through this crowdfunding campaign, we want to make sure that no family has to worry about finances while focusing on care and healing.
All donated funds will go directly to supporting these families. If any funds remain, they will be used entirely for aftercare for other people living with burn injuries.
