My name is Alina and I am writing to ask for your support for my brother, Teodor — a man who has been fighting one of the most aggressive forms of cancer for years and who is alive today thanks to a rare combination of willpower, medical dedication, faith, and human support.

This is not just a story about illness.

It is a story about survival, about pushing beyond human limits, and about a deep, unwavering desire to live.

📌 How It All Began

In 2021, Teodor was diagnosed with cancer, and at that time a polyp was removed from his small intestine.

Unfortunately, the disease returned rapidly and aggressively, with metastases to the liver.

📌 The Year 2023 – The Fight for Life

In 2023, Teodor’s condition deteriorated dramatically. Doctors initially said that surgery was no longer possible.

After the first operation, the medical team recommended a HIPEC surgery with abdominal lavage due to intestinal and stomach cancer with obstruction, but it could not be performed anywhere.

For 21 days, Teodor had no food at all, undergoing a complete water fast.

Almost miraculously, this fasting changed the course of events, allowing the possibility of the surgery that would take place later in 2023.

What followed was an extremely difficult operation, performed by a surgeon from Romania, who later stated that only with God’s help was it possible.

This intervention was nothing short of miraculous:

it lasted three days

it involved three surgeries combined into one

Teodor came very close to losing his life several times

The doctor fought side by side with the patient, and a special bond was formed between doctor and patient — built on trust, determination, and faith.

Through the surgeon’s hands, Teodor’s will to live, and God’s help, the operation succeeded, and from that moment forward, things slowly began to improve.

As a result of the surgery:

a colostomy was created to allow nutrition and treatment

Teodor’s weight dropped to 30–35 kg (66–77 lbs)

he had to relearn how to eat and walk.

⚕️ The Treatment That Stopped the Cancer

After surgery, Teodor began Lutetium therapy in Turkey, a modern, life-saving but extremely expensive treatment.

Afterwards:

the colostomy was removed through another surgery

three separate times, he recovered from 30–35 kg back to 50–60 kg, through immense effort and determination

📌 The Year 2025 – Another Battle Won

In April 2025, Teodor underwent his third surgery to remove the colostomy.

The procedure was successful.

What followed were eight extremely difficult months, marked by:

painful recovery

periods of immobilization

the cumulative effects of cancer and years of treatment

Despite everything, Teodor survived both cancer and the colostomy.

to offer real hope, through the example of his own fight.
