Help the streetdogs in Marocco !
Au Refuge Gco is a shelter for streetdogs at the rural aerea in Essaouira run by a Belgium couple.
- In Marocco more then 3000000 dogs are on the street , they are not vaccinated or sterilised and are in very poor conditions, most of them suffer from diseases like Parvo, Rage, Parasites,..some of them even got shot! On my mountain trip I fell in love with 70 % Aidi puppies and brought 7 of them to a vet in Essaouira to take care of. Suddenly 2 of them became ill , most of them got Parvo and I fet them every day, every 2 hours , gave them medicines, got them vaccinated and they survived! I named them Sidi Ali & Billie Aidi and promised them to help the street dogs in Marocco. I found a very nice shelter to take care of them run by 2 Belgium people (Valerie& husband) doing a great job for more then 10 yrs saving streetanimals. I brought the puppies and hope i can bring also the others to vaccinate and get adopted but it costs 100 euro/month a dog and they need to stay at least 5 months in the shelter before they can get adopted in Europe. The shelter is an association ADAN Essaouira Credit Agricole du Maroc. The refuge called Au refuge Gco…
