Op 23/2/26 heeft Simba de diagnose droge Fip gekregen. De behandeling voor deze ziekte en de nodige opvolgingsonderzoeken en testen zijn van lange duur en hebben een hoog kostenplaatje. Simba is 1 jaar en was tot kort voor de diagnose een forse kater van meer dan 4kg en was de speelvogel in huis. Nu is zijn gewicht door de Fip al gezakt naar 3,5kg op deze korte tijd en het speelse karakter is ook verdwenen. Enkel met de behandeling kan Simba geholpen worden. Hij kan alle hulp gebruiken.
