My name is Tetiana, and I live in Ukraine. I take care of six dogs who I rescued from the streets when they were still very young, at different times. I am not a shelter or a volunteer. They all needed a person’s help, and I could not walk away and leave them behind. Now they are all grown-up dogs, and the oldest is 13 years old.

I work, but because of the war, it is becoming increasingly difficult for me to provide them with good-quality food. I contacted more than one hundred pet food manufacturers in Ukraine and Europe. Almost all of them refused to help, while some did not respond to my requests at all. Three manufacturers responded, but I was warned that their help would be provided only once.

But my dogs need to eat every day. For the winter, I also need warm dog houses for them. No one is helping me, and I am desperate.

I kindly ask everyone who cares about animals to help me. Any support, no matter how small, would mean a lot to me and my dogs.
