Because I took care of the house, while my husband was working for long periods of time outside the city that we lived in, and because he made enough money to support us both, we decided it was best for me to stay at home and take care of everything the best that I could, even his elderly parents, so that we can spend more time together when he came back home.

Everything went south when he decided he wanted to change his life completely, leaving me with a choice that wasn't a choice really - do as I say, do as I live, or... It's not hard to believe that I had a nervous breakdown and had to go on antidepressants for 8 months, after that I decided it was in my best interest to part ways with him before I would lose myself completely.
