Give Roos a Second Chance
With a Mollii Suit, I experience a better quality of life.
My name is Roos Messemaker, I am 57 years old. Since I was twenty-three, I have had MS. Multiple Sclerosis is a debilitating and invasive disease that causes inflammation in the central nervous system. Few diseases bring as much uncertainty as MS does. Every day can be different, and recently it’s not only limited by poor mobility and balance issues but also by severe nerve pain, urinary infections, and bladder problems. The latest MRI shows that I have deteriorated significantly and that the MS has become active again.
I have always maintained a positive outlook on life, and I will continue to do so.
However, it becomes increasingly difficult for me to witness each new decline. Not only for me but also for those who stand by my side. The decline in my motor skills, gait, endurance, and nerve pain means I can handle less and am becoming more dependent. Now the Mollii Suit has come my way, and it brings remarkable relief and significantly improves my motor skills. For the first time, there is actually something that makes MS more bearable since there is still no cure, and we don’t even know what causes MS. The Mollii Suit works through electrodes that are customized to your specific needs. I would like to purchase the Mollii Suit, but I need financial assistance to do so. That’s why I’m making this appeal.
The suit costs €9000 and lasts about four years. It is not covered by health insurance. After a trial session wearing the suit, which lasts 60 minutes, I felt a sense of calm and was able to function better. Due to the stimulation my muscles received from the electrodes, I was able to enjoy things I normally can’t for 48 hours.
I hope, with your help, to make this suit a reality.
