Geef hoop aan Nihal – zeldzame kanker na bevalling

Lieve vrienden, familie en iedereen met een warm hart,

Met verdriet, maar ook met vastberadenheid delen wij het verhaal van onze dierbare Nihal Taplak. Nihal is 37 jaar oud en mama van een prachtig zoontje van nog geen zes maanden. Kort na haar bevalling in november 2024 kreeg ze de diagnose van een zeldzame, agressieve en tot op vandaag moeilijk te classificeren kanker – vermoedelijk een pleiomorf carcinoom.

Sindsdien is Nihal volledig immobiel. Ze onderging meerdere zware chemokuren, een hersenoperatie en bestralingen op verschillende plekken in haar lichaam. Helaas blijft de ziekte zich snel verspreiden. De behandelingen in België zijn inmiddels uitgeput, en de artsen hebben aangegeven dat de reguliere opties vrijwel op zijn.

Maar wij weigeren de hoop op te geven.

We kijken nu naar aanvullende mogelijkheden in het buitenland:

Een privékliniek met innovatieve therapieën en integratieve benaderingen

Het Universitair Ziekenhuis van Frankfurt, waar experimentele behandelingen en doelgerichte therapieën worden onderzocht

Daarnaast zijn we in overleg met internationale labo’s voor diepgaand genetisch weefselonderzoek, in de hoop een gepersonaliseerde behandeling te vinden voor Nihal.

Deze mogelijkheden brengen echter enorme kosten met zich mee, en worden niet terugbetaald door het ziekenfonds.

Daarom vragen we jullie hulp.

Elke bijdrage – hoe klein ook – helpt ons om Nihal een nieuwe kans te geven: op verlichting, op meer tijd, op leven.

Het ingezamelde bedrag zal besteed worden aan:

• Medische onderzoeken en consultaties in binnen- en buitenland
• Privébehandelingen in gespecialiseerde klinieken
• Medicatie, transport en medische begeleiding

Eventuele resterende middelen zullen geschonken worden aan liefdadigheidsinitiatieven.

Sevgili dostlarımız, ailemiz ve kalbi bizimle atan herkese,

Hüzünle ama aynı zamanda kararlılıkla, canımız Nihal Taplak’ın hikâyesini sizlerle paylaşıyoruz. Nihal 37 yaşında ve henüz beş aylık bir bebeğin annesi. 20 Kasım 2024’teki doğumdan kısa bir süre sonra, nadir ve agresif bir kanser (muhtemelen pleiomorf karsinom) teşhisi konuldu. Hâlâ kesin olarak sınıflandırılamayan bu kanser türü, onun hayatını altüst etti.

O zamandan beri Nihal yürüyemez durumda. Birçok ağır kemoterapi kürü, beyin ameliyatı ve vücudunun çeşitli bölgelerine radyoterapi aldı. Ne yazık ki hastalık hızla yayılmaya devam ediyor. Belçika’daki tedavi seçenekleri tükenmiş durumda ve doktorlar artık standart tedavilerde fazla umut olmadığını belirtti.

Ama biz umudumuzu kaybetmiyoruz.

Şimdi yurt dışında ek imkânları araştırıyoruz:

Yenilikçi ve bütüncül tedavi yöntemleri uygulayan özel bir klinik

Frankfurt Üniversitesi Hastanesi’nde deneysel ve hedefe yönelik tedavi seçenekleri

Ayrıca, Nihal için kişiye özel bir tedavi umuduyla, yurtdışındaki laboratuvarlarla detaylı genetik doku analizleri için görüşmeler yapıyoruz.

Ancak bu seçenekler yüksek maliyetler içeriyor ve sosyal güvenlik kurumu tarafından karşılanmıyor.

Bu yüzden sizlerden yardım istiyoruz.

Yapacağınız her katkı – ne kadar küçük olursa olsun – Nihal’a yeniden umut verebilir: rahatlama, zaman kazanma ve yaşama umudu.

Toplanan bağışlar şunlar için kullanılacaktır:

• Yurt içi ve yurt dışında yapılacak tıbbi tetkikler ve danışmanlıklar
• Özel kliniklerdeki tedaviler

Dear friends, family, and everyone with a warm heart,

With sadness, but also with determination, we share the story of our beloved Nihal Taplak. Nihal is 37 years old and the mother of a beautiful baby boy, not yet six months old. Shortly after giving birth in November 2024, she was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive, and to this day still difficult to classify cancer – most likely pleomorphic carcinoma.

Since then, Nihal has become completely immobile. She has undergone several intensive rounds of chemotherapy, brain surgery, and radiation treatments in various parts of her body. Sadly, the disease continues to spread rapidly. Treatment options in Belgium have been exhausted, and doctors have indicated that conventional options are nearly depleted.

But we refuse to give up hope.

We are now exploring additional options abroad:

A private clinic offering innovative therapies and integrative approaches

The University Hospital of Frankfurt, where experimental and targeted therapies are being explored

We are also in contact with international laboratories to conduct in-depth genetic tissue analysis, hoping to find a personalized treatment path for Nihal.

These possibilities, however, come with enormous costs and are not covered by public health insurance.

That’s why we ask for your help.

Every contribution – no matter how small – helps give Nihal another chance: for relief, for more time, for life.

The funds raised will be used for:

Chers amis, famille et toutes les personnes au grand cœur,

C’est avec tristesse, mais aussi avec détermination, que nous partageons l’histoire de notre chère Nihal Taplak. Nihal a 37 ans et est la maman d’un magnifique petit garçon de moins de six mois. Peu après son accouchement en novembre 2024, elle a reçu le diagnostic d’un cancer rare, agressif et encore difficile à classifier aujourd'hui – probablement un carcinome pléomorphe.

Depuis ce moment, Nihal est entièrement immobilisée. Elle a subi plusieurs lourdes chimiothérapies, une opération du cerveau ainsi que des séances de radiothérapie à différents endroits du corps. Malheureusement, la maladie continue de se propager rapidement. Les traitements en Belgique sont désormais épuisés, et les médecins ont indiqué que les options conventionnelles étaient pratiquement inexistantes.

Mais nous refusons de perdre espoir.

Nous nous tournons aujourd'hui vers d’autres possibilités à l’étranger :

Une clinique privée proposant des thérapies innovantes et des approches intégratives

L'Hôpital universitaire de Francfort, où sont étudiés des traitements expérimentaux et des thérapies ciblées

Nous sommes également en contact avec des laboratoires internationaux pour des recherches génétiques approfondies, dans l’espoir de trouver un traitement personnalisé pour Nihal.

Ces possibilités impliquent cependant des coûts énormes, non pris en charge par l’assurance maladie.

C’est pourquoi nous faisons appel à votre générosité.

Chaque contribution – même la plus modeste – peut offrir à Nihal une nouvelle chance : un soulagement, plus de temps, une vie prolongée.

Les fonds récoltés seront utilisés pour :

Les examens médicaux et consultations en Belgique et à l’étranger
