NL: Update: Hoop, vooruitgang en een warme dankjewel

Lieve mensen,

Dankzij jullie ongelooflijke steun ben ik ondertussen drie weken in therapie kunnen gaan bij Hope4Cancer, en ik kan niet genoeg benadrukken hoe dankbaar ik ben voor deze kans.

Wauw Wauw Wauw!!! Wat een ziekenhuis!! De aanpak daar was allesbehalve oppervlakkig. Alles werd op een professionele en wetenschappelijk onderbouwde manier uitgelegd en uitgevoerd. En wat mij nog het meeste raakte, waren de echte getuigenissen die ik met eigen ogen zag: patiënten die toekwamen met zichtbare tumoren en enkele weken later naar huis keerden met sterk verkleinde tumoren – of zelfs helemaal geen meer.

In mijn geval vraagt het proces meer tijd en geduld. De kanker heeft zich uitgebreid gemetastaseerd, maar zelfs dat is niet onmogelijk te keren. Ik geloof er rotsvast in: met een combinatie van intensieve therapieën, een streng aangepast dieet, een sterke wil, geloof, en vooral — in mijn geval — het loslaten van stressvolle omgevingen en toxische relaties die me jarenlang klein hielden, kan ik dit winnen.

Ik ben altijd iemand geweest die leefde voor anderen. Die altijd “ja” zei voor een ander en zelden of nooit “ja” voor mezelf. Dat is me zuur opgebroken. De mensen voor wie ik alles deed, waren het voorbije anderhalf jaar nauwelijks of zelfs helemaal niet aanwezig. Er waren loze beloftes, stiltes, en afwezigheid op momenten dat ik hen het hardst nodig had. Dit mentale gevecht is mijn grootste uitdaging geworden: omgaan met onzichtbaar verdriet, chronische stress, en onverwerkte trauma’s uit mijn jeugd. Mijn lichaam heeft me intussen duidelijk laten voelen dat die trauma’s niet zomaar vergeten zijn. En dus eis ik nu van mezelf om stil te staan, te voelen en te helen.

Jullie steun heeft het mogelijk gemaakt dat ik alvast het eerste stuk van mijn behandeling kon betalen. Intussen heb ik al veel belangrijke therapieën in huis:

• Een hydrogen-oxygen machine
• Verschillende roodlichttherapieën in combinatie met kurkuma, B17-infusen en methyleenblauw
• Sonotherapie machine
• Hoge dosis Vitamine C-infusen thuis (met dank aan een prachtig bedrijf dat me een infuuspomp doneerde!!)
• Wekelijkse Indiba-therapie
• Een Sunlighten sauna dome om thuis milde hyperthermie op te wekken
• Sauna-deken
• Al mijn medicatie en supplementen, waaronder 2 soorten immunotherapie injecties
• coffee enema kits
• low laser watch

Toch ontbreken er nog vier essentiële toestellen die mijn herstel significant kunnen versnellen:

Hyperthermie-apparaat (25.000€)
→ Waarom belangrijk? Bij verhoogde temperaturen kunnen kankercellen aantoonbaar vernietigd worden.

PEMF-systeem (prijs: €15.000)
→ Waarom belangrijk? Deze pulserende elektromagnetische veldtherapie helpt bij celherstel, vermindert ontstekingen en kan de kankeractiviteit remmen.

Hyperbare zuurstofkamer (prijs: ± €25.000)
→ Waarom belangrijk? Deze therapie verhoogt de zuurstofconcentratie in het lichaam en ondersteunt zo actief de strijd tegen kankercellen.

Professionele trilplaat (4000€)
→ Waarom belangrijk? Mijn lymfesysteem is ernstig verstoord door meerdere operaties en een port-a-cath. De trillingen helpen de lymfedrainage stimuleren — cruciaal, want ook mijn lymfeklieren bevatten kankercellen.

Zoals je ziet, ben ik al een heel eind, maar ik ben er nog niet. Ik had gehoopt dat deze toestellen onder de €20.000 zouden blijven, maar dat blijkt helaas niet het geval. Alles samen zit ik intussen ver boven het budget dat ik oorspronkelijk voor ogen had.

Voor wie denkt dat het in België beter of goedkoper zou zijn: ik had daar ook al meer dan €50.000 aan ongedekte kosten in slechts één jaar. Ondanks 14 jaar ziektevrij werken, jarenlang belastingen betalen en een extra hospitalisatieverzekering, kreeg ik niets terugbetaald. Ik voelde me eerder een testproject dan een patiënt. Dus neen, het systeem in België is helaas ook lang niet rooskleurig. Zieke mensen zijn wereldwijd slachtoffer van een medisch systeem dat vooral rond winst draait. Dat moest ik even kwijt.

Eind mei volgt mijn volgende scan en om de zes weken laat ik bloedafnames doen om mijn waarden te monitoren. Het is dus nog even wachten op resultaten, maar ik blijf vol vertrouwen.

Ik wil dit gevecht winnen. Niet met tijdelijke oplossingen zoals chemo of operaties waarbij de kans op herval groot blijft. Ik wil naar de kern. Naar de oorsprong. Ik wil mijn lichaam en geest volledig genezen, in mijn eigen tempo, met een nieuwe, gezonde levensstijl. En dat vraagt tijd, kracht, vertrouwen — en ja, ook nog wat financiële hulp.

Omdat ik een beperkt netwerk heb en geen vaste persoon die me kan brengen of bijstaan tijdens externe sessies, is het voor mij echt essentieel om deze therapieën thuis te kunnen blijven volgen.

Daarom deze update en een warme, eerlijke vraag:
Willen jullie mij helpen met deze laatste stap?

FR: Mise à jour : espoir, progrès et un immense merci

Chers amis,

Grâce à votre incroyable soutien, j’ai pu suivre trois semaines de thérapie chez Hope4Cancer, et je ne peux pas vous dire à quel point je suis reconnaissante pour cette chance.

Waouh, waouh, waouh !!! Quel hôpital incroyable !! L’approche y est tout sauf superficielle. Chaque traitement m’a été été expliqué et réalisé de manière professionnelle, avec des bases scientifiques solides. Mais ce qui m’a le plus touchée, ce sont les témoignages réels que j’ai vus de mes propres yeux : des patients arrivaient avec des tumeurs visibles et repartaient quelques semaines plus tard avec des tumeurs fortement réduites — voire totalement disparues. 

Dans mon cas, le processus demandera un peu plus de temps et de patience. Le cancer s’est largement métastasé, mais même cela peut encore être inversé. J’y crois profondément : grâce à une combinaison de thérapies intensives, un régime alimentaire rigoureux, une volonté forte, la foi — et surtout, dans mon cas — en me détachant des environnements stressants et des relations toxiques qui m’ont maintenue enfermée pendant des années, je peux y arriver.

J’ai toujours vécu pour les autres. J’ai toujours dit “oui” aux autres, et rarement “oui” à moi-même. Cela m’a coûté cher. Les personnes pour qui j’ai tout donné ont été absentes, voire totalement invisibles, ces 18 derniers mois. Des promesses non tenues, des silences, des absences aux moments où j’avais le plus besoin de soutien. Ce combat mental est devenu mon plus grand défi : affronter un chagrin invisible, un stress chronique, et des traumatismes d’enfance que je n’ai jamais pris le temps de traiter. Mon corps me le crie aujourd’hui. Alors je choisis maintenant de m’arrêter, de ressentir et de guérir.

Grâce à vos dons, j’ai pu financer la première phase de mon traitement. Aujourd’hui, j’ai déjà accès à plusieurs thérapies importantes chez moi :

• Une machine hydrogène/oxygène
• Différentes lampes de luminothérapie rouge combinées à des perfusions de curcumine, B17 et bleu de méthylène
• Une machine de sonothérapie
• Des perfusions à haute dose de vitamine C à domicile (merci à cette entreprise généreuse qui m’a offert la pompe !)
• Des séances hebdomadaires de thérapie Indiba
• Une capsule sauna Sunlighten pour induire une légère hyperthermie à la maison
• Une couverture sauna
• Tous mes médicaments et compléments, dont deux types d’immunothérapie injectable
• Kits pour lavements au café
• Montre à laser basse fréquence

Cependant, il me manque encore quatre appareils essentiels qui pourraient considérablement accélérer mon rétablissement :

Appareil d’hyperthermie (environ 25.000 €)
→ Pourquoi important ? Il est prouvé que les cellules cancéreuses peuvent être détruites à haute température.

Système PEMF (environ 15.000 €)
→ Pourquoi important ? Cette thérapie par champs électromagnétiques pulsés soutient la régénération cellulaire, réduit les inflammations et peut inhiber l’activité cancéreuse.

Chambre hyperbare (environ 25.000 €)
→ Pourquoi important ? Elle augmente considérablement l’oxygène dans le corps, ce qui soutient la lutte contre les cellules cancéreuses.

Plateforme vibrante professionnelle  (4000€)
→ Pourquoi important ? Mon système lymphatique est fortement perturbé à cause de plusieurs opérations et de la présence d’un port-a-cath. Les vibrations aident à relancer la circulation lymphatique — essentielle, car mes ganglions sont eux aussi atteints.

Comme vous pouvez le voir, j’ai déjà franchi un grand pas, mais je n’y suis pas encore. J’espérais que ces appareils resteraient sous les 20.000 €, mais la réalité est toute autre. Aujourd’hui, je suis bien au-delà du budget initial que j’avais imaginé.

À ceux qui pensent que “ce serait mieux ou moins cher en Belgique” : j’y ai déjà accumulé plus de 50.000 € de frais non couverts en un an. Malgré 14 années de travail sans arrêt maladie, des impôts réguliers et une assurance hospitalisation privée, je n’ai rien été remboursée. Je me suis sentie comme un cobaye, pas comme une patiente. Malheureusement, notre système n’est pas aussi bon qu’on voudrait le croire. Partout dans le monde, les personnes malades sont prises au piège d’un système médical gouverné par l’argent. Je tenais à le dire.

Je passerai un nouveau scanner fin mai, et je fais des prises de sang toutes les six semaines pour suivre l’évolution. Il faudra encore attendre un peu pour avoir des résultats concrets, mais je reste confiante.

Je veux gagner ce combat. Pas avec des solutions temporaires comme la chirurgie ou la chimiothérapie qui laissent un grand risque de rechute. Je veux aller à la racine, traiter la cause. Je veux guérir corps et esprit, à mon rythme, avec un mode de vie nouveau et sain. Cela demande du temps, de la force, de la foi… et, oui, encore un peu d’aide financière.

Comme je n’ai pas un grand entourage et personne de disponible pour m’accompagner régulièrement, il est essentiel pour moi de pouvoir continuer ces traitements à la maison.

ENG: Update: Hope, Progress, and a Heartfelt Thank You

Dear friends,

Thanks to your incredible support, I was able to spend three weeks in therapy at Hope4Cancer, and I cannot express enough how truly grateful I am for this opportunity.

Wow, wow, wow!!! What an amazing hospital!! The approach there is anything but superficial. Every treatment was thoroughly explained and carried out, backed by scientific research. But what moved me the most were the real testimonies I witnessed with my own eyes: patients who arrived with visible tumors and, just a few weeks later, went home with significantly reduced tumors — or even none at all.

In my case, the process requires more time and patience. The cancer has metastasized quite extensively, but even that can still be reversed. I believe in this wholeheartedly: with a combination of intensive therapies, a strict healing diet, a strong will, deep faith, and above all — in my case — by letting go of stressful environments and toxic relationships that held me down for years, I can overcome this.

I’ve always been someone who lives for others. Always saying “yes” to everyone else, and rarely to myself. But that has come at a cost. The people I gave everything to have been barely — or not at all — present over the past year and a half. Broken promises, silence, absence during my most vulnerable moments. This mental battle has become my greatest challenge: dealing with invisible grief, chronic stress, and childhood trauma that I never allowed myself to process. But my body is speaking loud and clear now. So I am finally choosing to slow down, feel, and heal.

Your support has already made it possible for me to fund the first part of my treatment. At this point, I have been able to set up several essential therapies at home:

• A hydrogen-oxygen machine
• Multiple red light therapy devices combined with curcumin, B17 infusions, and methylene blue
• A sonotherapy machine
• High-dose Vitamin C infusions at home (thanks to a wonderful company that donated the infusion pump!)
• Weekly Indiba therapy
• A Sunlighten sauna dome to induce mild hyperthermia at home
• A sauna blanket
• All my medications and supplements, including two types of immunotherapy injections
• Coffee enema kits
• A low-level laser therapy watch

However, I am still missing four essential devices that could greatly accelerate my recovery:

Hyperthermia device (~€25,000)
→ Why it matters: It is scientifically proven that cancer cells can be destroyed at higher temperatures.

PEMF system (~€15,000)
→ Why it matters: Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy promotes cell regeneration, reduces inflammation, and may inhibit cancer activity.

Hyperbaric oxygen chamber (~€25,000)
→ Why it matters: This therapy increases oxygen saturation in the body and actively supports the body’s fight against cancer cells.

Professional vibration plate  (4000€)
→ Why it matters: My lymphatic system has been severely compromised due to multiple surgeries and the placement of a port-a-cath. The vibrations help stimulate lymphatic drainage — essential, as some of my lymph nodes also contain cancer cells.

As you can see, I’ve already come a long way — but I’m not there yet. I had hoped these devices would cost less than €20,000 combined, but sadly that’s not the case. Altogether, I’ve far surpassed the budget I had initially hoped or planned for.

For those who believe it would be cheaper or easier in Belgium: I had over €50,000 in out-of-pocket expenses in just one year there. Despite working 14 years without sick leave, paying taxes, and paying for private health insurance, I wasn’t reimbursed. I felt more like a test subject than a patient. So no — the system in Belgium is unfortunately not much better. All over the world, sick people are victims of a profit-driven medical system. I needed to share that.

My next scan is scheduled for the end of May, and I get my bloodwork checked every six weeks to monitor my progress. So we still need to wait a little longer for concrete results — but I remain very hopeful.

I want to win this fight. Not with temporary solutions like surgery or chemotherapy, which come with a high risk of recurrence. I want to address the root cause. I want to heal both my body and mind — in my own time — and build a new, healthy lifestyle. That takes time, strength, faith… and yes, a bit more financial help.

Because I have a limited support network and no one who can regularly accompany me to outside treatments, being able to do all of this at home is crucial for my recovery.
