My main wish is to try and improve my mobility with continued therapy; focusing on the mind and body.

Hi, my name is Avril and I am now 57 years old.
I used to own a small, but successful estate agency. Life was good and I was working hard.
But a few years ago, my world was turned upside down by a relentless attack of chronic body pain, crippling muscle spasms, and tiredness.
Determined to find answers, after 5 years of misdiagnosis and frustrating delays, I finally received a diagnosis that both shattered and solidified my reality...Fibromyalgia, scoliosis in my upper back, and cervical arthrosis.
Fibromyalgia is a chronic, widespread painful disorder with countless symptoms that are invisible to the eye and a difficult condition that requires more awareness.
I resolved to fight back to reclaim my life, but more symptoms developed. Finally, just before 2020, I made the tough decision to close my business. I just physically couldn't work anymore and went into depression.
The financial burden of requiring therapy over these few years has become a strain since losing my means to earn. Any savings I had previously have now been depleted and I do not have a partner to help at this moment in time. Any therapies I was able to receive before are now non-existent.
Despite there being no cure at the moment, I wish to regain a semblance of life as normal as it can be.
Putting my pride aside, I am sincerely reaching out for any contribution, hoping for your support in my fight. With your generosity, I can:
Continue accessing essential medical care and therapy
Look for assistance with mental health therapy, i.e. sessions.
My main wish is to try and improve my mobility with continued therapy; focusing on the mind and body, but I am aware I can only take one step at a time.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read.
