Fundraising for Nourish Pre-school in Capricorn District (Cape Town)
The money raised will be spent on a long-awaited special excursion for the children.
I am currently volunteering in the township of Capricorn, which is situated close to Cape Town. I volunteer in a pre-school (ages 3-6) with children who live in severe circumstances. The principal of the school would love to host an excursion for the children to give them a memorable day and, for many of them, a first day in the park. For this we need your help to raise money for transportation, snacks and entrance fees. Should there be money left over, it will be spent on replacing the broken or worn out facilities in the school. Every donation is greatly appreciated.
Ik doe momenteel vrijwilligerswerk in de township Capricorn, dat dicht bij Kaapstad ligt. Ik doe vrijwilligerswerk in een kleuterschool (leeftijd 3-6) met kinderen die in zware omstandigheden leven. Het hoofd van de school zou graag een excursie voor de kinderen organiseren om hen een gedenkwaardige dag te bezorgen en, voor velen van hen, een eerste dag in het park. Hiervoor hebben we jullie hulp nodig om geld in te zamelen voor vervoer, snacks en entreegelden. Mocht er geld overblijven, dan wordt dat besteed aan het vervangen van de kapotte of versleten voorzieningen in de school. Elke donatie wordt zeer op prijs gesteld.
