A direct message to you:

I'm Afaf Jalal, a mother of six children in Gaza.

We lost our home. We lost our income. Now we're struggling to keep my kids fed, safe, and healthy.

I'm not asking for much, just enough to cover:

  • Food for my family
  • Medicine for urgent needs
  • Basic safety while we try to rebuild

Every bit helps. Even $10 can feed us for a day. $50 buys medicine. $100 gives us breathing room to plan the next step.

If you can help, thank you. If you can share this, thank you.

We just need a chance to stand back up.

Afaf,

Here's how they will use the ~$1,500/monthly:

Food: $800 This covers basic staples for the family of seven for about one month. Rice, flour, cooking oil, canned goods, milk, and eggs. We need around $12-15 per day just to eat. It's not much, but it keeps us going.

Medicine: $300 Children get sick often in those conditions. They need antibiotics, pain relief, fever medicine, and basic first aid supplies. The mother can't afford to take them to a clinic for everything, so she buys what she can and treat them at home when possible. This covers emergencies only.

Water and Hygiene: $150 Clean water isn't always available. They need soap, basic hygiene supplies, and sanitary products.

Shelter and Safety: $200 They lost their home and father. Right now they're staying wherever we can. Usually in camp tends. This money goes toward temporary rent, securing a safer place if they need to move quickly, or buying blankets and basic protection from the cold.

Emergency Buffer: $50 For anything urgent that wasn't planned for. Transportation to a safer area, sudden medical needs, or unexpected costs that come up when you're just trying to survive.

This isn't a wish list. It's survival. $1,500/monthly might give them temporary breathe, heal, and figure out what comes next.
