Save the Elders Foundation (SEF) is a community-based organization dedicated to restoring dignity, improving health, and protecting the well-being of vulnerable older persons and children in Tanzania. We work with underserved communities to provide healthcare outreach, nutrition support, social protection, education assistance, and advocacy for elderly people facing poverty, illness, isolation, and neglect.

Through partnerships with healthcare professionals, volunteers, community leaders, and development partners, we bring essential services closer to those who need them most. Our work also supports children of vulnerable elders by promoting access to education and creating opportunities for a brighter future.

We believe every older person deserves respect, care, and a dignified life, and every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their dreams. Together with compassionate supporters, we are building stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities where no elder or child is left behind.
