Lars vit depuis plus de trois ans et six mois dans des conditions que nul ne pourrait survivre sans aide. Aucune prise en charge. Aucune protection. Aucune chaleur. Aucun avenir. Son transfert vers la Belgique avait été pleinement approuvé — jusqu’à ce que tout soit soudainement interrompu sans aucune explication. Depuis lors, sa vie est à l’arrêt. Il est épuisé, malade et totalement livré à lui-même.

Depuis mai 2022, Lars est détenu à Shutka et Idrizovo, deux prisons en Macédoine du Nord décrites dans des rapports officiels du Conseil de l’Europe comme « inhumaines », « misérables » et « structurellement négligées ». Surpopulation extrême, corruption, violence, absence totale de soins médicaux et abandon psychologique complet. Ce n’est pas une vie. C’est une survie.

Sa santé se détériore : une malformation cardiaque congénitale, une neurofibromatose, une atteinte pulmonaire sévère (BPCO/asthme), un risque accru de cancer colorectal, des séquelles neurologiques après une thrombose cérébrale, un TSA, un TDAH et une grande fragilité psychologique due à des années de détention. Aucune de ces affections ne bénéficie d’un suivi médical, ne serait-ce qu’un seul jour.

🔥 Transfert vers la Belgique : d’abord pleinement approuvé, puis bloqué sans explication

Le transfert international vers la Belgique était prévu pour le 9 septembre 2025. Tous les documents étaient finalisés. La justice belge avait confirmé. Tout était prêt.

Quelques semaines avant la date d’exécution, tout a été suspendu sans une seule phrase d’explication. À l’intérieur de la prison, Lars ne reçoit aucun message officiel. Il vit dans l’incertitude, dépendant d’informations fragmentées transmises par son avocat et le consulat.

Depuis son transfert vers Idrizovo, le contact est presque impossible et toutes les informations passent par son avocat local et le consulat.

🔥 Expertises indépendantes : aucune constatation confirmant une infraction

Le dossier contient plusieurs rapports d’experts indépendants, rédigés par des universitaires et acceptés par le tribunal. Ils concluent sans équivoque que :

• il n’existe aucun indice de comportement délictueux,
• aucune intention nuisible n’a été constatée,
• aucun dommage psychique ou physique n’a été relevé,
• l’interaction, selon les experts, était bienveillante, soutenante et altruiste.
• Ces conclusions font partie du dossier officiel. Pourtant, Lars a été condamné.

🔥 Rapports internationaux : graves lacunes dans la procédure judiciaire

Des instances indépendantes telles que le CPT, GRETA et le rapport de progrès de l’UE ont documenté des problèmes structurels dans le système judiciaire macédonien :

• traduction et interprétation déficientes,

Lars has been living for more than three years and six months in conditions that no one could survive without help. No care. No protection. No warmth. No future. His transfer to Belgium had been fully approved — until everything was suddenly stopped without any explanation. Since then, his life has been on hold. He is exhausted, ill, and completely left to himself.

Since May 2022, Lars has been imprisoned in Shutka and Idrizovo, two prisons in North Macedonia described in official reports of the Council of Europe as “inhumane,” “miserable,” and “structurally neglected.” Extreme overcrowding, corruption, violence, zero medical care, and total psychological neglect. This is not living. This is surviving.

His health is breaking down: a congenital heart defect, neurofibromatosis, severe lung damage (COPD/asthma), increased risk of colorectal cancer, neurological damage after a brain thrombosis, ASD, ADHD, and severe psychological vulnerability due to years of detention. None of these conditions receives even a single day of medical follow-up.

🔥 Transfer to Belgium: first fully approved, then blocked without explanation

The international transfer to Belgium was scheduled for 9 September 2025. All documents were finalized. Belgian justice had confirmed. Everything was ready.

A few weeks before the execution date, everything was stopped without a single word of explanation. Inside the prison, Lars receives no official communication. He lives in uncertainty, dependent on fragmented information via his lawyer and the consulate.

Since his transfer to Idrizovo, contact has become almost impossible and all information goes through his local lawyer and the consulate.

🔥 Independent expert reports: no findings confirming a crime

The file contains several independent expert reports, prepared by university specialists and accepted by the court. They state unequivocally that:

• there are no indications of criminal behavior,
• no harmful intent was established,
• no psychological or physical injury was found,
• the interaction, according to the experts, was caring, supportive, and altruistic.

These conclusions are part of the official file. Yet Lars was convicted.

🔥 International reports: serious shortcomings in the judicial process

Independent bodies such as CPT, GRETA, and the EU Progress Report documented structural problems in the Macedonian judicial system:

• poor translation and interpreter support,
• unreliable evidence procedures,
• inadequate forensic standards,
• violation of the principle of adversarial proceedings,
• insufficient legal safeguards.

Lars’s case took place within that system.

Lars urgently needs medical follow-up for serious cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and genetic conditions. In North Macedonia, he receives nothing:
