We willen in totaal 35.000 euro ophalen:

We are the Belgian women's bobsleigh team. Every winter, we compete against the best nations in the world, with a team that largely operates through its own efforts and resources. Our goal is clear: to become one of the top ten teams in the world.

The past year has been difficult. Kelly successfully qualified for the Olympic Games in monobob, and we are incredibly proud of that achievement. As a team, however, we missed out on the Games because of an entry error that was completely beyond our control. It is a deep wound, and one that still remains.

Much has been written about the conflict with our federation, and the legal proceedings are still ongoing. What is clear to us is this: the trust is gone. We can no longer allow our sporting future to depend on people and equipment we cannot rely on.

Now we are also losing access to the monobob, the last piece of equipment still provided by the federation. We can only continue to use it by paying a rental fee that is simply unaffordable for us and, honestly, feels more like a provocation than a solution.

This is not the first time we have had to invest in ourselves. We have already personally purchased a two-woman sled, a van, and a significant amount of equipment just to keep training and competing. Now, it is the monobob's turn.

Why We Choose Independence

Anyone aiming for the very top needs resources, stability, and a reliable support structure. We have not received that from our federation. For years, we asked questions without receiving clear answers. Being continuously held back will always prevent us from reaching our full potential.

That is why we are choosing independence. Our own equipment, our own decisions, and our own path. For us, this is the only way to keep progressing.

What We Need

A New Monobob

In bobsleigh, equipment makes a huge difference. You can push harder and drive better than ever, but with a sled that isn't competitive, you lose precious hundredths of a second that can never be recovered.

Owning our own monobob would allow us to build a four-year Olympic campaign towards the 2030 Winter Olympics. This time, we want to be there as a team. Qualification for the Olympic monobob and two-woman bobsleigh events is based on a combined ranking. One cannot succeed without the other.

Clarity Through the Courts

We are currently pursuing legal action against the federation. The court has ruled that we are entitled to full access to the federation's accounts, and an independent auditor has been appointed to conduct a thorough review.

This comes with significant costs, on top of a season that our entire team is already funding largely from our own pockets. We want to see this process through properly, so that we can finally obtain the transparency we deserve and return our full focus to sport.

Our Goal

We aim to raise €35,000:

  • €30,000 to purchase a new monobob, owned by Kelly Van Petegem and made available to the Belgian Bullets.
  • €5,000 to cover legal expenses and auditing costs.

We will keep supporters informed every step of the way: the purchase of the sled, the first test runs, the first races, and exactly how the funds are used.

Companies interested in supporting us through sponsorship and visibility on our sled or in our communications are warmly invited to contact us:

Over the next four years, we want to build our road to the 2030 Olympic Games together with you. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer. Thank you for helping push us forward.
