Trailrun for young people in Mulanje

I am running Mulanje Porters' Race for the Youth programme at Mulanje Mission Hospital on the 13th of July.

The Youth Centre at the hospital is a favorite place for many girls and boys in Mulanje. They come to play ball games, study in the library, attend sessions on health and relationships, and do talent shows.

Soon, they'll also be able to learn computer skills in the new computer lab!

We also have a workshop where young carpenters, tailors and metal workers are running businesses with advice and support from our youth team.

In the Youth Friendly Clinic, counselling and treatment is given for free.

This work leads to happier, healthy young people with good schoolresults, skills, a purpose in life and economic independence.

We now need funds to open the computer lab and keep the activities going. Please help to provide opportunities for youth in Malawi.

The race was a great event; we all finished well, many of us with prizes! Thee medalists included # 1,2 and 3 on the 10 km and the #1 international male on the 25 km.
We have raised over 1,800 EUR for youth work in Malawi. Thank you very much once again!
