Mijn broer verloor zijn huis in de bosbrand – help hem opnieuw beginnen
Na 3 jaar zware depressie verloor hij nu ook zijn thuis - het laatste wat hij nodig had. Jouw steun geeft hem weer hoop.
Er gebeurde iets verschrikkelijks met mijn broer. Hij woont in Spanje. Zoals je misschien al weet, woeden daar op dit moment enorme zware bosbranden.
Twee dagen geleden gebeurde het ondenkbare: zijn huis ging volledig op in de vlammen… Alles is weg…
De afgelopen drie jaar waren voor hem mentaal loodzwaar. De laatste tijd ging het met hem eindelijk terug wat beter en probeerde hij weer richting te vinden in zijn leven.
En dan gebeurt dit…
Zijn huis, zijn veilige plek, zijn houvast – weg.
(Hij was niet verzekerd - in Spanje ligt dit iets anders dan hier).
Dit was nu echt het laatste wat hij nodig had.
Zijn huis bouwde Peter 19 jaar geleden eigenhandig. Nu is alles weg.

My brother lost his house in the forest fire – help him start over
Something terrible happened to my brother. He lives in Spain. As you may already know, huge forest fires are raging there right now.
Two days ago, the unthinkable happened: his house was completely destroyed by the flames… Everything is gone…
The past three years have been mentally very difficult for him. He suffered from a major depression. Lately, he's finally feeling a bit better and trying to find direction in his life again.
And then this happens… His house, his safe place, his anchor – gone. (He wasn't insured – things are a bit different in Spain than here).
This was truly the last thing he needed.
He built his house with his own hands 19 years ago. Now everything is gone.

Algo terrible le ocurrió a mi hermano. Vive en España. Como ya sabrán, allí se están produciendo enormes incendios forestales.
Hace dos días, ocurrió lo impensable: su casa quedó completamente destruida por las llamas… Todo se ha ido…
Los últimos tres años han sido mentalmente muy difíciles para él. Últimamente, por fin se siente un poco mejor y está intentando encontrarle un nuevo rumbo a su vida.
Tras tres años de profunda depresión, también perdió su hogar; era lo último que necesitaba. Su apoyo le devuelve la esperanza.
Y entonces ocurre esto… Su casa, su refugio, su ancla, se ha ido. (No tenía seguro; las cosas son un poco diferentes en España que aquí).
