Hello everyone,

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and an urgent plea to help me see my beloved grandmother in Indonesia one last time.

Three weeks ago, my grandmother suffered a severe fall in the bathroom. Due to a critical tailbone injury, she is now completely paralyzed. On August 8th, she will celebrate her 118th birthday—an incredible, historic milestone—but her health is rapidly declining, and we do not know how much time she has left.

Why This Trip is So Urgent

I am currently 6 months pregnant and living in the Netherlands. Because of my pregnancy, this is my absolute last window of safety to travel long-distance before third-trimester flight restrictions begin. If I cannot travel now, I will not be able to see her before I give birth, and I fear I may never get to say goodbye to the woman who means the world to me.

I will be making this long journey alone with my 3-year-old son, so that he can also hold his great-grandmother's hand one last time

How the Funds Will Be Used

As an emergency trip booked at the last minute, the travel costs are incredibly high. The goal of this fundraiser is to cover the direct, round-trip travel expenses for myself and my toddler:

 Roundtrip flights (1 Adult & 1 Toddler) from the Netherlands to Indonesia: €3,200

 Any extra funds raised will go directly toward my grandmother's comfort, pain management, and medical care during this difficult time.
