A Chance to Rebuild My Life

My name is Josef, I am 32 years old, and I come from the Czech Republic.

For 14 years, I shared my life with my partner and our three children. I started building a family when I was just 20 years old. I worked hard because I wanted to provide a home, security and a good future for the people I loved.

Unfortunately, my life took a very difficult turn. After my relationship ended, I lost my home, my family life and the stability I had spent so many years building. Within just five days, my whole life changed. I found myself without a home and without many of the basic things I once took for granted.

I never wanted to find myself in a position where I would have to ask strangers for financial help. I always believed I could solve my problems through hard work. I thought I would manage somehow, get back on my feet and rebuild my life on my own.

But the reality has been much harder than I ever imagined.

I have now been living on the streets for five months. I take temporary jobs whenever I can find them, and I do everything I can to earn my own money. Most of what I earn goes towards food and basic daily needs. I cannot save enough to secure accommodation or make a real change in my situation.

I honestly thought I could handle this by myself. I kept telling myself to stay strong and keep going. But after five months without a home, I have to admit that I am struggling. I am exhausted, and I can no longer manage everything on my own. Asking for help has not been easy for me, but I have reached a point where I know I cannot do this alone anymore.

I do have relatives, but unfortunately they are not in a position to help me financially or provide me with a place to stay. They exist, but when it comes to the support I desperately need right now, I am practically alone.

I also carry the pain of being separated from the family I spent so many years building. My children are incredibly important to me, and one of my biggest hopes is to rebuild a stable life and create a better future for them.

I have never wanted to depend on other people. I have always worked for what I had. I am not asking for luxury, and I am not asking anyone to solve my entire life for me. I am simply asking for a chance to start again.

What would your support help me with?

• Finding safe and stable accommodation.
• Covering essential living expenses while I get back on my feet.
• Obtaining my driving licence, which has been a long-time personal dream.
• Improving my chances of finding stable employment.
• Working towards reliable transport so I can reach more job opportunities.

My fundraising goal is €20,000. I will use the money responsibly and do my best to keep the use of donations transparent.

I do not expect anyone to rebuild my life for me. I want to work, become independent again and build a stable future for myself and my children. I just need a real opportunity to get out of the situation I am in.

I'm not asking for money for a comfortable life. I'm asking for a chance to rebuild a life where I can work, live with dignity, and stand on my own feet again.
