For some time now we have been preparing for the 12th European Deaf Bowling Championship 2024.

I wonder why we got involved in this committee.

We are indeed organizing the European Deaf Championship in Belgium.

I remember that Belgium organized the 5th European Deaf Bowling Championship for the first time in 1994.

I was impressed by the interest of the many deaf people present. They were quite old people. I was there and gave a speech to deaf players.

And now, after 30 years, we are organizing it for the second time and for a larger number of participants.

It is really interesting to know the history of this championship.

Now there are many young people and we can see the example of that time and benefit from their experience.

Michel has already experienced this, so he is experienced. I wanted to work with him to share this experience with young volunteers.

It's a nice project, but it requires a big budget.

Can we tell them the exact details of this budget?

That is a huge budget compared to 30 years ago!

Then there were few players, now we expect between 175 and 225 players.

In addition, the current price of bowling alleys is expensive, in addition to transport and compensation for volunteers and so many other things...

So we need support for that!

And then there's the rising cost of living...

That's a lot of costs... How did we prepare this budget? In our committee, 15 people are working on this issue of finance and it is clear that this is a big budget.
