Hi, my name is Nesrin , and this summer I will travel from Utrecht to Guangxi, China, to volunteer as an English teacher for children who rarely get opportunities like this.

This project means more to me than a trip — it’s a chance to give children hope, confidence, and the feeling that their dreams matter. I want to show them that someone believes in them. I want to help them see a bigger world, even if it’s just through a few English words, shared smiles, and small moments of connection.

But as a student living on my own, reaching the total cost of about €4,000 is something I simply cannot do alone. I’m working and saving everything I can, but I still need help to make this dream real.
