The impact of Climate change has been profound in developing countries like Nepal. Nepal’s vulnerability is also linked with her socio-economical condition and even in her geopolitical disposition. The crisis nation had to face due to economic blockade in 2015 exemplifies the interlink between energy dependency and geopolitics.   

Due to various forms of limitations of existing EVs and fuel cell technologies, hydrogen internal combustion engine (with minor modification) has been considered as a viable option in the transportation sector. Due to abundant fresh water and hydroelectricity potential (43 GW), Nepal is considered one of the countries that can produce cheapest green hydrogen in the world. This means use of hydrogen can be a benefit not only in the environmental but also in the economic aspect as well, including the message that a small country can deliver for a larger cause.  

As such, we are launching this proven technology in Nepal, in joint collaboration with a prestigious university in the UK. We are aiming to raise €15,000 in this campaign, which is about 40% of the total budget.
