Kracht Gives Back: Potluck & Workout for SilverFox – December 12
Bring your signature dish to our yearly potluck: we’ll work out, share food and sponsor SilverFox classes for older adults.
Save the date! On December 12 we’re hosting our yearly Kracht potluck, and this year it comes with a twist. As always, bring one of your signature dishes to share. This time, though, the evening is also a give-back event for our own Kracht Foundation and its SilverFox program.
We’ll start by working out together, then sit down to enjoy the potluck. Along the way, we’ll raise support for a cause close to our hearts.
About SilverFox
SilverFox is Kracht Foundation’s sports program for people aged 60 and over in Amsterdam. Since 2024, SilverFox has run weekly group classes in community centers, including Het Ruim on the GWL-terrein and De Horizon in the Spaarndammerbuurt. The classes focus on strength, balance and mobility, but they’re about much more than exercise. They give older adults a place to stay active, meet their neighbors and feel part of their community.
The classes are led by SilverFox Coaches: volunteers who complete a dedicated SilverFox training course, attend regular refresher days and hold first aid and CPR certificates. Experienced Master Coaches visit every location to support the coaches and keep improving the program. SilverFox is growing, with plans for new groups in Amsterdam West and a new SilverFox Center in Amsterdam Zuidoost that started September 2026.
How you can help
SilverFox wants to keep its classes accessible to everyone, including people who can’t easily afford them. You can help by sponsoring a class: €2 covers a single class, and €15 covers a full punch card in Amsterdam Zuidoost. You decide how much you give, and every contribution helps someone stay strong, mobile and connected.
