Access to reliable, clean water remains one of the most transformative needs for rural communities. In Ngilai Central, the only borehole and pipeline serving roughly 400 households has deteriorated over time—leaking pipes, corroded sections, and an aging pump have caused water shortages. Additionally, many families and institutions still live beyond the reach of the current pipeline.
Our goal:
Repair the existing borehole, rehabilitate damaged pipeline sections, and extend the water distribution system by 3 kilometers.
With your support, we can restore consistent water access and expand coverage to underserved areas.
🎯 Why This Matters
Repairing and extending the water system will:
- Provide safe, clean water to hundreds of families
- Reduce the hours walked each day (mostly by women and children) to collect water
- Improve health, hygiene, and sanitation
- Support schools and livestock with dependable water supply
- Strengthen the community’s economic resilience and daily wellbeing
This is a highly impactful, one-time infrastructural investment with long-lasting benefits.
