My name is Mohammed Khalil, I’m 20 years old and from Gaza. For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of building a future filled with purpose, knowledge, and happiness. I worked hard in school and graduated with high grades, believing that my education would open the door to a better life

But the war in Gaza has turned my world into rubble. I have witnessed destruction, hunger, and loss. The sound of bombs has replaced the sound of laughter, and fear has taken the place of safety. I lost my home, my stability, and the chance to live a normal life. Instead of focusing on my studies, I am struggling each day just to survive.
