HELP JUDITH AAN EEN THUIS

Judith 10 Jaar, heeft dringend een thuis nodig samen met haar moeder. Eind mei moeten ze hun tijdelijk inwoningsplek uit.

Afgelopen zomer is Judith samen met haar (alleenstaande) moeder Karin vanuit Malawi naar Nederland gekomen voor en langere verlof periode. Karin is 10 Jaar geleden in Malawi gaan werken om missiewerk te gaan doen. Karin werkt als vrijwilliger van stichting Stephanos in de locale dorpjes. Daar heeft ze Judith ontmoet toen ze nog een baby was. De biologische moeder was niet in staat om voor Judith te zorgen. Toen Judith 5 jaar was heeft Karin Judith geadopteerd. Judith heeft een zeer traumatische jeugd gehad. Ze ondergaat daarvoor momenteel een intensieve therapie. Dat is de reden waarom de verlof periode van Karin langer duurt dan gebruikelijk. Het onderkomen waar Karin en Judith nu zijn moeten ze eind mei verlaten. Verhuizen is voor Judith zeer moeilijk. Ook is het vinden van een betaalbare woonruimte niet makkelijk omdat Karin momenteel geen inkomsten heeft. Karin kan (in Nederland) momenteel niet werken omdat de therapie die Judith ondergaat veel van Judith vraagt, zowel physiek als emotioneel. Ze Kan daardoor ook tijdelijk niet naar school. De therapeuten van Judith hebben het advies gegeven om een vaste woonplek te vinden zodat Judith geen stress ervaart om iedere keer naar een nieuwe plek te verhuizen. Dit levert haar weer een traumatische ervaring op.

Het doel van deze actie is een vakantiewoning te kopen waar Karin en Judith de komende maanden kunnen verblijven. Wanneer de tijd er is dat ze weer naar Malawi vertrekken kan de woning worden verhuurd. De inkomsten kunnen dan gebruikt worden ter ondersteuning van de kosten voor Karin om haar missiewerk te kunnen doen. Tijdens de verlofperioden kunnen ze in het vakantiehuisje verblijven, wat Dan een veilige haven voor Judith is.

Last summer Judith and her single mam moved to the Netherlands for a longer furlough period. 10 years ago Karin went to Malawi to do mission work. Karin worked as volunteer for Stephanos foundation in the rural areas. There she met Judith when she was a baby. The biological mother wasn't able to take care of Judith. When Judith was 5 years old Karin adopted Judith. Judith's first 5 years where very traumatic. Currently she has intensive therapy for this. That's the reason for the long furlough. They have to leave the place they are currently in by the end of May. Moving is very stressful and difficult for Judith as well to find a reasonable priced house is difficult to find because Karin doesn't has an income at this time. This is because working ( in the Netherlands) isn't possible at the moment because the therapie Judith gets ask a lot of Judith both physical and mental. Judith temporary isn't able to go to school because of this.

The therapists of Judith gave the advice to look for a permanent house so Judith wouldn't get the stress of moving to different places anymore. This is going her traumatic experience.

Purpose of this action is to be able to buy a holiday home where they both can stay for the coming months. When time is there that they move back to Malawi the holiday house can be rented out. That money can be used to help covering the cost of Karin doing her missie work in Malawi. When they come for furlough they can stay in this house what then will be a safe place for Judith.
