FUDI - Vegetarisch Post Corona leed - levensreddende ondersteuning

Hi my name is Feni Matherio Jamal

I and a friend who believed in each other started to pursue a Dream of opening a Healthy fast food restaurant in Entebbe in Uganda. My friend who owned restaurants had inspired me and agreed to help me with this to become an entrepreneur!

We worked tirelessly on this project for years to have the dream come true; we worked days and nights, hours after hours and eventually the dream of changing the way the world eats came true!!

Giving my community opportunity to get access to affordable and healthy food that everyone can afford, giving the young men opportunity to work, learn and grow l was more happy than anything.

Our restaurant is built out of shipping containers something that was not not common in my country…with Great atmosphere and place if happiness especially if you happened to got our banana whip, one of the smoothies.

We opened in the middle of pandemic and we were hit by lock down and, as being a new restaurant, we struggle just like an other restaurants that were trying to survive the Covid 19 - effects, l put so much effort and unfortunately shortly after this, me and my friend took different directions. He pulled off and we owed money to the land lord. Unfortunately I tried to have the restaurant survive with the help of some of few people who were willing to work to keep the business moving and we had to close temporarily and thought we would figure this out , we closed due to several issues , the business model was vegan , the rent had accumulated and the business was slow the economy of our country was fully opened this year around mid January this year, and unfortunately the landlord had to confiscate the containers

For the money owed , we are here asking for financial assistance so we could pay of the debt and relocate the containers to a place that we can afford and get few more equipments and have a start up capital again with the restaurant offering options for meals etc allowing

People to get on board other than just two people to be co - owners have get  shares …now the dream would become the dream of many people with same dream but No one wants to unfortunately start were l am at the moment!

The finances will be used for payment of the rebuild owed , get relocate the containers, have a start up capital, get some few equipments and have some cash to pay the new ground rent up front and roll all over again….

I am devastated that everything that l worked so hard for could end up like this l have tried to personally raise some money it not been enough and after a seek so many other options to save this business l came to point of gathering courage to ask for a help from those a round the world … that l know would be willing to help that …

We would still love to give back the community in ways free internship for barista get some basic business knowledge and financial literacy, have a community kitchen day where the community comes together to learn how to cook some healthy meals and what good values and nutrients have , how to fight some sickness in the body by eating what food , etc..

Get some skills weekend ( How to make liquid soap, How to make local pads , How to use beads to make bracelets, Have inspirational and educational movie nights, ride bicycles for fitness….
